Our story

Trees outlive us. We work like they will outlive our work too.

Rainy Day started with one truck, one bucket lift, and a shared belief that the cheapest cut is rarely the right one. Two decades later, we are a crew of ten ISA-certified arborists and groundsmen who still talk about every tree like a neighbor.

We are not the company that climbs in to chip and run. We are the one your grandkids will call too.

Every job begins with a conversation, ends with a clean yard, and is backed by full insurance, written estimates, and the kind of follow-up that makes us boring at industry conferences but beloved on your block.

How we work

Slow looking, careful cutting.

Most of our process happens before the chainsaw starts. Here is how a job moves from your phone call to a clean yard.

i.

Free Estimate

We visit your property, walk the trees with you, listen to your concerns, and leave with a written quote within 24 hours.

ii.

Plan & Schedule

We mark every cut, plan rigging points, coordinate with neighbors and utilities, and book the work around your week.

iii.

Careful Execution

Our climbing crew arrives on time, in uniform, with two layers of ground protection and one ear on the radio.

iv.

Clean & Follow-up

Every chip raked, every log stacked where you want it. We check in two weeks later to see how things look.

A 90-foot oak came down across our driveway at midnight in March. Sam's crew was there by 6am, gone by noon, and you would not know it had happened except for the sawdust smell. Honest pricing, beautiful work.

I have used three tree services on our property over the years and Rainy Day is on a different plane. They prune like surgeons and treat our hundred-year sugar maple like a family member.

Cleared seven acres for our build and not a single keeper tree lost. The crew flagged everything we wanted to save, worked around it, and left the site cleaner than they found it.
